What we will be learning
As we start to move into Autumn we will be exploring the season with different sensory trays and lots of messy play.

Our younger children will be exploring where our food comes from and trying different autumnal food. We will also be working on our self help skills putting coats and wellies on.
In our 2-3 room, we will be learning about colour, number and letter recognition through lots of different activities and songs.

Our older children will be starting our new topic of 'My body' exploring body parts, organs and emotions.

Some of our activities

This month we will be doing lots of wonderful arts & crafts, from painting bats, foxes and trees.

We will be creating leaf collages and doing lead prints.

Then we will have lots of messy play as well as outdoor play.

We will continue to work on our fine motor skills through snipping and cutting with scissors and mark making with crayons.

Some of our older children will be conducting science experiments about brains, lungs and skeletons
