Our Forest School Ethos

At Clyde Nursery Ltd, we believe that every child should experience the world beyond the playroom as an essential part of their learning and personal development. Forest school is designed to enhance and complement our existing provision and curriculum by offering pupils the opportunity to take part in regular, long term sessions outdoors.
Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland recognises the positive features of learning outdoors and Forest School is an ideal tool for developing successful and confident individuals who are socially and environmentally responsible citizens. At Clyde Nursery we offer Forest School to our Pre-school children.

Warm Hat and Gloves or Sun Hat

Waterproof Jacket with Hood
Waterproof Trousers
Wellington Boots or Walking Boots with Warm Socks (no sandals)

Sun cream and insect repellent to be applied before session
