We offer two fee rates.  A discounted rate for Parents/Carers who are employed at the Naval Base, Coulport, Faslane and Glen Douglas and our full rate is for all other service users.

In Argyll & Bute children qualify for ELCC funding from the Monday following their 3rd birthday.  Children whose birthday falls 1st March - 31st July will not qualify until the August.

The nursery is open 50 weeks of the year and is closed on Easter Monday and during the Christmas/New Year period, plus 1 other day (maximum of 10 days closure).  Fees are payable over 50 weeks and are calculated as a monthly average of the fees for a full year (ie multiplying the weekly cost by 50 weeks and dividing by 12 months), however children who change hours or start/finish nursery part way through the month will be invoiced in exact sessions for that month only.
 

Fees will not be reduced if your child is absent from the nursery due to illness or holidays.  Swapping of sessions is not possible however, fee reductions may be made due to long term illness, this will be at the discretion of the Manager. 

 

If fees are not paid by the 10th of the month, for the month ahead, the nursery reserves it’s right to suspend the childcare place.  A fee of £6/hour, or part thereof, will be charged for late pick-ups.

To ensure the safety of children and staff at all times there may be an occasion where the nursery is forced to close.  In the event of the nursery having to close during the day for reasons such as extreme weather where weather warnings etc have been issued, we will contact parents or the emergency contact to collect children from the premises.  We will keep you informed of procedures we are taking to remedy the situation.  We will always do our utmost to keep the nursery in operation and in event of closure will strive to have the service restored as soon as possible however in the unusual event of a nursery closure, fees would not be refundable.  Please read our policy - Procedure In The Event of Nursery Closure.

Fees are due in advance on the 1st of the month.  Parents should set up a regular monthly standing order, please enquire in the nursery office for the exact amount.

Please use your child's name as the reference on ALL payments, including childcare vouchers.

Extra hours booked will be invoiced at the daily rate and will be invoiced the following month.

Fees are calculated to include the 10 days when the Nursery is closed.

​

4 weeks written notice must be given on termination of a nursery place.
